Into a family with buried traditions of Irish heritage, Riley grew up connecting with the lively folklore that have been transferred from generation to generation. These stories, recounted by my grandparent’s longing for an Ireland of emerald hills, sparked a curiosity in history that has been raging ever since in me. Being fascinated by this issue, Riley went on to academia as a sort of a light of learning, a professor who shares the wonders of archaeology with ever hungry minds.
Caoimhe is Riley’s sister. She is the reason Riley is on this journey in the first place. Her illness and a lack of any known cure, sent Riley into a frenzy of research, during which he found evidence of the fabled fountain of youth in Moraveil. She cares for her brother deeply, often listening to stories he told her of the strange mythology he studies. Despite the journey being for her sake, Caoimhe didn’t want Riley to go, as she feared he would not return in time.
